Itinerary
Check in with your tour guide at OR Tambo International airport at 10:00 AM. We depart to Munich for the start of our Eastern European adventure!

We arrive in Munich at 06:50, clear customs and collect our luggage. A short drive into Munich takes you to the biggest beer festival in the World, OKTOBERFEST. Make your way to one of the 14 beer tents and contribute to the more than 7,000,000 liters of beer consumed annually. For the non beer lovers, the Oktoberfest offers markets, rides and plenty of activities on the famous grounds as well. In the afternoon we depart to Innsbruck in Austria and spend the night.

After a free morning in Innsbruck to explore (And perhaps buy some of the world famous Swarovski), we continue onto the home of Mozart, Salzburg. See the beautiful Fortress, as well as where Mozart was born and use to live. We spend the night in this magical city!

After breakfast we depart to the capital city of Austria, Vienna. Surely one of the highlights of the tour! After our arrival in Vienna, we enjoy a guided tour with a local guide to see all the main sites that Vienna has to offer. The afternoon is yours to explore the city at your own pace, enjoy some shopping and perhaps a coffee in a traditional Kaffeehaus.

A full free day to explore the many sites of the Austrian capital. Visit the Schönbrunn Palace, or perhaps the oldest Zoo in the world, the Schönbrunn Zoo.

Next stop is the Capital of Slovakia, Bratislava. We enjoy a quick orientation tour next to the Danube river and show you the main sites of Bratislava. We depart Slovakia and enter Hungary as we make our way to the capital of Hungary, Budapest.

A morning guided tour shows you the main sites of the Capital of Hungary, Budapest. The Hungarian capital Budapest is in fact two cities, Buda and Pest, divided by the river Danube. The two parts of the city could not be more different. Enjoy your own free time in the afternoon and evening to explore this amazing city.

We start heading North and enter Poland. We make our way across to Krakow, the second biggest city in Poland. Visit the Rynek Glowny (main square) and walk the streets of Krakow.

Next stop on our tour is the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum and Memorial. A sad site to visit, but yet still an unbelievable experience. Enjoy a guided tour of the concentration camp and museum, where approximately 1,500 000 people died in the concentration camp, mostly jews in the Gas chambers. We continue to visit the town that is quickly growing a reputation as the Venice of the North, Wroclaw. See the majestic Wroclaw fountain, and visit the market square and Centennial Hall.

After breakfast we make our way to Berlin and enjoy a guided tour covering all the main sites of Berlin, showing you some of the remains of the Berlin wall, Checkpoint Charlie, the Brandenburg Gate, Hitler's Bunker and more.

A free day in Berlin. Why not jump on a hop on hop off city bus tour to cover all the main sites with an audio guide. Alternatively visit the TV tower with incredible views across Berlin, or go shopping on the high streets.

Our first stop for the day is the beautiful city of Dresden, we see Dresden's spectacular Frauenkirche, regarded as one of the most remarkable reconstruction projects ever to have taken place in Germany. We enjoy free time for lunch, to stroll along Brühl's Terrace and to take in the spectacular views overt the Elbe river.
Next stop is the Capital of the Czech Republic, Prague. A afternoon guided tour of Prague shows you the Astronomical Clock, The Old Town square, Church of St. Nicholas, Prague Castle and one of the oldest medieval bridges in Europe, Charles Bridge. We enjoy dinner as a group, and the rest of the evening is yours to explore the medieval city. Absinthe anyone?

A free day in Prague to enjoy the many sites Prague has to offer. C the World recommends the Prague Castle and Sedlec Ossuary. Alternatively enjoy some excellent shopping in the shopping districts.

A free morning for last minute shopping before we make our way to the airport for our flight back to Johannesburg. We depart Prague at 16:05.

We arrive back in Johannesburg with a scheduled arrival time of 09:50. Say goodbye to new friends made and take a lifetime of memories with you back home.
