June European Tour 2026

Check in with your C the World rep at OR Tambo airport in Johannesburg around 18:00. We fly to Amsterdam to start our European adventure!

We arrive in Amsterdam, collect our luggage and continue to the hotel to refresh. Later in the afternoon your guide will take you to central Amsterdam for a free evening.

We start the day with a countryside excursion. We see Volendam, Zaanse Schans, and taste some traditional cheese. Around lunch time we return to central Amsterdam for a free afternoon to explore. C the World recommends a canal cruise, Van Gogh Museum, the Heineken Brewery, Anne Frank House or Leidse Plein’s unlimited ribs.

We depart the Netherlands and enter Germany and the Rhine Valley. Early afternoon we board our Rhine valley cruise and enjoy a cruise through one of the most concentrated stretches of castles in the entire Europe. We enjoy a local wine tasting in Boppard where you can try the famous Ice Wine (Eiswein). We continue to our hotel and have dinner together as a group.

The first stop of the day is a visit to the Dachau Memorial Site Concentration camp, the first of the Nazi concentration camps intended to hold political prisoners. After our visit we continue South towards Munich. Experience the Bavarian inspired charm at one of the Bierkellers! Dinner tonight is in a traditional German bierkeller serving the famous Oktoberfest 1 liter beers (Steins).

We enter Austria and visit the town of Innsbruck in the Austrian Alps, the home of Swarovski. Ladies, get ready to shop till you drop! Guys, why not taste some local Schnapps? Late afternoon we arrive in Venice and check into our hotel. The canals of Venice await! A free evening to see the Rialto bridge, St Mark Square and the world famous canals.

A free day in Venice. C the world recommends the glass blowing island of Murano, the lace shops on Burano or head to Lido’s beach. Perhaps a Gondola ride?

We leave the beauty of Venice and make our way to the ancient city of Rome to “do as the Romans do”. A late afternoon guided tour of Rome shows you the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish steps and much more!

A free day in Rome. Timeless beauty, ancient history, and world-class cuisine, the day is yours to explore. C the World recommends the Vatican City.

Today we enter the rolling hills of Tuscany as we make our way towards Florence for a city tour. See the famous cathedral of Florence, Bridge of Ponte Vecchio and Piazza della Signoria (Copy of Michelangelo’s St David’s statue). We end the day at one of Europe’s most iconic landmarks, the leaning tower of Pisa. We spend the evening in a Tuscan town a short drive from Pisa.

We head north past Milan, with a quick lunch stop at Lake Como, and into Switzerland with a spectacular drive to the Jungfrau valley. Sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery of the Swiss Alps.

Today we travel through the burgundy wine region of France, before we arrive in Paris! We take you on an evening guided tour of the Sacré-Cœur, Montmartre and Moulin Rouge.

After breakfast we explore all the main sights of Paris on foot. Your tour leader will show you the Opera house, Tuileries Garden, the Louvre Museum, Pont Neuf and the Notre Dame. After free time and lunch in the Latin quarter the afternoon is yours to explore Paris at your own pace.

A full free to day explore the sites of Paris. Stroll the Seine, visit the Eiffel Tower, savor pastries in cozy cafés or make your way to the majestical Palace of Versailles. For a adrenaline filled day why not visit Disneyland Paris!

A free morning for some last minute shopping and site seeing before we make our way to the airport for our flight back to Johannesburg. Our flight departs Paris around 16:00

We arrive back in Johannesburg with a scheduled arrival time of 07:10. Say goodbye to new friends made and start thinking about the reunion party!
