Check in with your tour guide at OR Tambo airport in Johannesburg at 11:00. We fly to Paris on Qatar airlines.

Bonjour Paris! We arrive in Paris around 07:30. After clearing customs and collecting our luggage, we depart for a quick city tour before we make our way to the hotel to refresh. This afternoon we take you on a guided tour of the Sacré-Cœur, Montmartre and Moulin Rouge.

After breakfast we explore all the main sights of Paris on foot. Your tour leader will show you the Opera house, Tuileries Garden, the Louvre Museum, Pont Neuf and the Notre Dame. After free time and lunch in the Latin quarter we continue to the most famous landmark in Paris, the Eiffel Tower. The afternoon is yours to explore Paris at your own pace.

After breakfast we continue South to the Swiss Alps. We will travel through the French countryside as well as Burgundy wine district, before arriving at our hotel in the Jungfrau district. Sit back, relax and enjoy the spectacular views of the Swiss Alps.

Today we make our way to one of Europe’s most iconic landmarks, the leaning tower of Pisa. We spend the evening in the Tuscan town of Lucca.

We make our way to the ancient city of Rome to “do as the Romans do”. A late afternoon guided tour of Rome shows you the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish steps and much more.

Today we enter the rolling hills of Tuscany as we make our way towards Florence for a city tour. See the famous cathedral of Florence, Bridge of Ponte Vecchio and Piazza della Signoria (Copy of Michelangelo’s St David’s statue) After lunch we make our way to Venice and show you the best of Venice, including the Rialto bridge and St Mark Square. A free evening to explore Venice at your own pace

A free day in Venice. C the world recommends the glass blowing island of Murano, the lace shops on Burano or head to Lido’s beach. Perhaps a Gondola ride?

We start heading North and make our way into Austria. Innsbruck is a beautiful town in Austria surrounded by the Austrian Alps. See the Golden roof, and go shopping at Swarovski. Why not try some local schnapps?

A short drive into Munich takes you to the biggest beer festival in the World, OKTOBERFEST. Make your way to one of the 14 beer tents and contribute to the more than 7,000,000 liters of beer consumed annually. For the non beer lovers, the Oktoberfest offers markets, rides and plenty of activities on the famous grounds as well. In the afternoon we depart Ulm and spend the night in Innsbruck.

We depart Ulm and enter the Rhine Valley. Early afternoon we board our Rhine valley cruise and enjoy a cruise through one of the most concentrated stretches of castles in the entire Europe. We also enjoy a wine tasting before we continue to the hotel.

The Dutch countryside awaits as we visit Zaanse Schans windmill village and the beautiful harbour village of Volendam. We then see how the traditional Clogs (wooden shoes or klompe) are made and we taste famous Edam cheese. Later in the evening it’s time to enter Amsterdam. The night is yours to explore Amsterdam, the coffee shops and to paint the town red.

A last free day before we make our way to the airport for our flight back to Johannesburg. Our flight departs Amsterdam at 22:15.
